ICONFIT FERRICON is an iron complex for the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin. The product is intended for use especially during pregnancy, when iron deficiency is more likely to occur. The product contains stomach-friendly iron bisglycinate and vitamin C, which does not cause digestive disorders or unpleasant sensations. In addition, the product contains vitamins C, B6 and B12 and folic acid.

  • Iron contributes to normal red blood cells and hemoglobin , ensuring sufficient iron availability to the body.
  • Vitamin C increases iron absorption and helps reduce fatigue and exhaustion.
  • Vitamins B6 and B12 play an important role promoting normal red blood cell formation in hematopoietic processes .
  • Folate contributes to normal blood formation and tissue growth in a woman's body during pregnancy.
  • There are 45 capsules in a box. Daily dose is 1 capsule.

Iron deficiency Anemia is a condition characterized by a decrease in the number, size, or hemoglobin content of red blood cells, which can lead to a decrease in the transport of oxygen in the body. The symptoms of anemia can vary depending on the cause, severity, and type of anemia, as well as individual factors such as age and general health. During pregnancy, the amount of fluid (including blood) circulating in a woman's body increases, but unfortunately the body is unable to produce red blood cells at an adequate rate. In addition, iron is also used to meet the needs of the fetus. Because iron deficiency anemia directly affects the blood, it is also diagnosed mainly through blood tests.

What are the symptoms of iron deficiency?

  • Fatigue and weakness: These are the most common symptoms because the body's cells receive less oxygen than usual.
  • Pale or yellowish skin: A decrease in hemoglobin and red blood cells can cause pale or yellow skin.
  • shortness of breath: especially during physical activity, as the body tries to provide tissues and muscles with sufficient oxygen.
  • dizziness: Dizziness: can occur because the brain is not receiving enough oxygen.
  • Cognitive problems: for example, difficulty concentrating or memory caused by reduced oxygen supply to the brain.

Hematopoiesis is an important function of the body, during which blood cells are formed, which transport oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. Healthy hematopoiesis helps maintain the body's balance and strength. The formation of hemoglobin is important because it allows the blood to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide efficiently, thus supporting the body's overall metabolism and vital functions.

The main functions of blood and hemoglobin:

  • Oxygen transport: Hemoglobin, which is found in red blood cells, binds and transports oxygen from the lungs to the body's tissues, ensuring the necessary oxygen supply to the cells.
  • Carbon dioxide transport: Hemoglobin helps carbon dioxide, a metabolic waste product, move from tissues to the lungs, where it leaves the body.
  • Nutrient transport: Blood carries nutrients, such as glucose and amino acids, from the digestive tract to organs and tissues, ensuring energy production and cellular function.
  • Waste disposal: Blood transports metabolic byproducts, such as carbon dioxide and other waste products, to the lungs, kidneys, and other excretory organs.
  • Hormone transport: Blood helps transport endocrine hormones, which regulate the functions of various parts of the body.
  • Immune system support: White blood cells form an important part of the immune system, protecting the body against infections and diseases.
